Services for H.L. Lamb, 90, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Lamb died Friday, November 19, 2004, at Crosbyton Hospital. He was born September 14, 1914, in Ralls to Walton Edward and Cora Viola (Megon) Lamb. On July 18, 1936, he married Margaret Woodard in Crosbyton. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church and worked for the Texas Highway Department for 28 years. He had lived in Ralls all his life. He is preceded in death by a son, Weldon Lamb in 1989.

Survivors include his wife Margaret; a son, Darwin Lamb and wife Rose; a daughter, Kimberly Benton and husband Robert; two brothers, Orvel Lamb and Harvey Lamb, all of Ralls; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Benton, Ray Lee "Ty" Lamb, Jason Lamb, Edward Strickland, Chris Malcomb and Jordan Fuller.

Margaret LambServices for Margaret Louella Woodard Lamb, 90, of Ralls will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Lamb passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Ralls Nursing Home. She was born June 11, 1920 to the late C. M. and Rosa Lee (Cooper) Woodard. On July 18, 1936 she married H. L. Lamb in Crosbyton. He preceded her in death November 19, 2004. A lifelong resident of Ralls, Margaret was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and was a telephone operator for 17 years for General Telephone Company. She was also a barber in Lubbock for 12 years.

Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Weldon Leroy Lamb; a brother, W. Ray Woodard; a sister, Dorothy Cole; a granddaughter, Carolyn Lamb; and a great-granddaughter, Marina Morgan.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Darwin and Rose Lamb of Ralls; a daughter and her husband, Kim and Robert Benton of Ralls; a sister, Lillis Garner of Farwell; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Adams Funeral Home.
