Geneva Harris Knight, 85, of Lubbock and formerly of Ralls passed away Friday March 8, 2013. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 12, 2013 at the Emma Church of Christ with the Rev. Judy Shema officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Monday March 11, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Geneva was born April 29, 1927 in the Owens Community of Crosby County to the late Clarence and Georgia Knight Smith. She married Howard Harris August 4, 1946 in Munday Texas. He passed away May 14, 1988. She then married Lewis Knight on November 11, 2000 in Ralls Texas. Geneva was a member of the Emma Church of Christ and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved singing and dancing and had a strong passion for serving others.
Geneva was preceded in death by six brothers; Floyd, Boyd, C.R. Dallas. Carl, Aubrey Smith. One sister Mildred � Mickey� Crump. Geneva is survived by her husband Lewis of Lubbock, two daughters; Diane Van Zandt and husband Eddie of Alvarado, Jean Alsup and husband Billy of Bentonville Arkanasas. Two sons; George Harris and wife Linda of Amarillo, Franklin Harris and wife Dixie of Floydada, one stepson Kenny Knight and Wife Brenda of Spring Branch, a sister Eunice Lloyd of LaQuinta California, eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
