Services for Jimmy Michael Kinney Jr., 17, of Ralls were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Ralls First Baptist Church with James Majors officiating.

Burial was at Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at his home.

He was born June 4, 1982, in Houston.

He was a senior at Ralls High School where he was involved in band and the Future Farmers of America. He had lived in the Ralls area for most of his life.

Survivors include his father, Michael Kinney of Ralls; his mother and step-father, Kathy and Michael Ware of Ralls; grandparents Jimmy and Ann Kinney of Houston, Beverly Justus of Huntsville, Nathan Crumby of Bellflower, CA, Billue Ruth Ware of Lorenzo; one brother, Rob Durrett of Lubbock; one sister, Angel Kinney of Ralls; and his great-grandmother, Velma Crumby of Kansas City, KS.

Casket bearers were Joshua Majors, Steven Proa, Colt Sue, Brian Arthur, Bubba Richardson, and Dayan Davis.

The family suggests memorials to Honorary: RHS Senior Class.
