RALLS (Special) — Services or Orville J. King, 80, of Ralls will be at 4:30p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Morrow, pastor, and Kermit Little officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday in Lubbock's St. Mary of the Plains Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Cone and married Daisy Shook on March 7, 1934, in Ralls. He was a retired farmer and he had worked for the Crosby County Fuel Association. He was a member of First Baptist Church. A son, Kerry, died in 1980.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Marshall of Ralls; two daughters, Dannetta Little of Lubbock and Nancy Roye of Ralls; five brothers, Bill of Fort Worth, Gus of Woodburn, Ore., and Bob, James and Joe, all of Ceres, Calif.; two sisters, Aline Zindler and Faye Harter, both of Delhi, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Services for Daisy King, 89, of Ralls, will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 14, 2007 at the Ralls First Baptist Church with Dr. Kermit Coy Little officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Daisy passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at LakeRidge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lubbock.

She was born January 2, 1918 in Ralls to the late William Robert and Vinnie Jane (Newton) Shook. On March 7, 1934 she married Orville J. King in Ralls. He passed away on April 6, 1993. Daisy was a life long resident of Ralls where she attended school in Old Emma and Ralls and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had worked at the Mini-Mart and also as a cook at restaurants and the Farmer school.

She is preceded in death by a son Kerry who passed away in 1980.

Survivors include; a son; Marshall of Lorenzo, two daughters; Dannetta Little of Wolfforth, Nancy Roye of Idalou, 20 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons; A. J. Langdon, Jr., Brian Langdon, Kerry King, Duane Boggs, Darrell Boggs, Lawrence Boggs and Scotty Boggs.
