Graveside services for Nancy Elizabeth Jones, 93, of Lubbock were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday September 19, 1989 in Ralls Cemetery.

Burial was under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at noon Sunday September 17, 1989 at the Bender Terrace Nursing Home in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Madison County and moved to Lubbock in 1958 from Ralls. She had also lived in Abernathy and Idalou. She married Elmer Jones. He died in 1958. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church. Two sons, Eugene Jones and J. W. Jones, and a daughter, Iva Moses, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sisters, Myrtle Hager of Lubbock and Gertrude Baker of Stockton, Calif.; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren.
