RALLS (Special) Services for Vuynetta Stevens Jones, 79, of Ralls will be at 3 p.m. today in Emma Church of Christ with Vance Davis, minister, and Dennis May, a Church of Christ missionary from Slovakia, officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994, in Crosbyton Hospital.
She was born Dec. 14, 1914, in Stephenville. She graduated from Crosbyton High School and she married Hatton Jones on Jan. 27, 1938, in Lubbock. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was a homemaker and a former cook and waitress.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, David, Tommy and Joe, all of Ralls; a daughter, Penny Wheeler of Dallas; a brother, D.K. Stevens of Lubbock; a sister, Vera Findley of Ralls; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Hatton Jones, 92, of Ralls were held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Tim Mills officiating. Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Hatton passed away Friday, October 24, 2008 in Lubbock. He was born July 18, 1916 in Smithville, Tennessee to the late Robert B. and Dona (Arnold) Jones. On January 27, 1938 he married Vuyneta Stevens in Lubbock. She preceded him in death November 10, 1994. Hatton is also preceded in death by a son, Joe Jones who passed away November 22, 2006.
Hatton moved to Ralls in 1927 from Tennessee. He was a member of the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls and was a mechanic and truck driver.
Survivors include two sons, David Jones of Lubbock and Tommy Jones of Colorado City, Texas, a daughter Penny Willeford of Sanger, Texas, 3 brothers, Billy Joe Jones and James Jones, both of Teague, Tx and Robert Jones of Ralls, 3 sisters, Cleeta Carley of Lubbock, Clara Lee Barlow of Coldspring, Texas and Patsy Roddy of Portales, NM, 4 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be Justin Jones, James Jones, Mike Carley, Jeff Jones, John Jones and Larry Hartman.
