U.S.Flag   Dale Jones PhotoServices for Glynn Dale Jones, 91, of Ralls, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Ralls First United Methodist Church with Kenny Jones, son, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.

Dale passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at his home. He was born on Dec. 18, 1918, in Cross Plains, Texas, to the late Clyde C. and Nora (Arrowood) Jones. Dale served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII, being honorably discharged in 1945. On March 14, 1946, he married Oleta Durham in Lubbock. Dale and Oleta moved to the Ralls area in 1947 from Lubbock.

He was a member of the Ralls First United Methodist Church, the Ralls Quarterback Club and the Ralls Lions Club since 1957, serving twice as president. He was a Mason and his vocations included farming, ranching and carpentry. He farmed from 1938 to 1982, when he retired.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Jones; and a sister, Wilma Waythe.

Dale is survived by his wife, Oleta of Ralls; two sons, Kenny Jones and wife Linda of Crosbyton and Michael Jones of Floydada; two grandsons, Cody Jones of Vancouver, Wash. and Dustin Jones and wife Jennifer of Ralls. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Breighdyn and Bryson Jones.
