RALLS (Special) - Services for Garland Jones, 86, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.Masonic graveside rites will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Jones died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1996, at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
He was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Ben Wheeler. He married Edna McCollum on April 14, 1928, in Chillicothe. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church, and he was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Emma Masonic Lodge 931. He moved to Ralls from Chillicothe in 1941.
He was a farmer, and he was a security guard at Pinkerton. A son, Bobby Dean Jones, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Betty Engle of Abilene and Juanell Holtman of Idalou; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
