Billie Jean Folsom Jones, 83, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011. She was born June 25, 1928 in Ralls Texas. Services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 in the Ralls Cemetery Chapel. Rev. Harvey Wampler of Peoples Church Assembly of God Shallowater officiated. Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Billie Jean was preceded in death by her father, Allen Folsom; her parents, Guy and Syble Folsom Taylor; and one brother, James Taylor.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Jones, Jr; children and their spouses, Bobby and Jane Jones, Barbara and David Edwards, and James and Janice Jones; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hinshaw and Associates, the staff at Heritage Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility, UMC, Interim Hospice, Trust Point Hospital and all the friends that shared their love and prayers with them.
