Rites Read For Mrs. Johnston Wednesday
Funeral rites were held for Mrs. Len Johnston, 90, at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnston died at 8:30 p.m. Monday in Crosbyton hospital.The Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Assisting in conducting he service was the Rev. H.B. Coggin, minister of the First Methodist Church in Ralls.
Mrs. Johnston, a native of Brown County, had lived in Ralls from 1937 until 1951 and in Crosbyton since 1951.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Garnet Jones of Crosbyton and Mrs. Paul Ely of Cone; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
