Mary Luretta Johnson, 78, of Ralls went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2010.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Ralls on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11a.m., with Rev. Johnny Flowers officiating. Family visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
Luretta was born in Winnfield, LA, to Willie and Mildred Pearson on August 29, 1931. She married Jesse Johnson on July 19, 1948. She retired from Ralls ISD after many years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Willie Pearson Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 61 years, Jesse Johnson; her children, Gwen (Willie) Peters of Winnfield, LA, Danny Johnson and Lynda (Pat) Shelby of Lubbock, Bruce (Leticia) Johnson of San Antonio, Cynthia (T.L.) McQueen and Gail Johnson of Ralls; 21 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Shiloh Baptist Church building fund, PO Box 484, Ralls, TX. 79357.
