Services for Fern Grise Jamerson, 84, of Ralls were at 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Hubbard officiating.Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died on Monday, January 8, 2001, at her Ralls residence.
She was born on September 6, 1916, in Granite, Okla. She married Al Jamerson on July 28, 1933, in Soper, Okla. He died on October 19, 1979. She was a graduate of Boswell High School in Boswell, Okla. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hereford and the Home Demonstration Club. She had worked as a nurse's aid in Muleshoe, Hereford and Clovis, N.M. She was also a homemaker. She moved to the Ralls area in 1933 from eastern Oklahoma and had lived in Muleshoe, Hereford and Clovis before returning to Ralls in 1979.
Survivors include a son; James of Ralls; a daughter, Hellen Shoemaker of Ralls; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials to the Ralls Library or to the Ralls EMS.
