Victoria Igal photoServices for Victoria Saleh Igal, 93, of Ralls will be at 10 a.m., Thursday June 19, 2003 at Ralls First United Methodist Church with Father John Hill officiating and the Rev. Larry Reed-Farris assisting. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. She died Monday, June 16, 2003 at her home in Ralls.

She was born Sept. 19, 1909 in Konia, Turkey. She married Sn. Abu Igal in 1928 in Ramallah, Palestine. He preceded her in death in May of 1976. She was a member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Lubbock. She grew up in Athens, Greece and came to the United States in 1983 from Jerusalem. She moved to Ralls in 1998 from Lewisville, Texas.

Survivors include three sons, William S. Igal of Ralls, Dr. Victor S. Igal of Magnolia, Texas, Isam S. Igal of Bowie, Md.; two daughters, Violet S. Iqal of Pasadena, Calif., Thelma Gheen of Daytona Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Alex Iqal, Dolly Lazar, Robert Iqal, Nancy VerSoy, Victoria Bailey, Clifford Igal, Dorothy Goldstein, Raymond Salameh and Saleh Igal; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
