RALLS (Special) Services for L.D. Huckabay, 80, will be at 3 p.m. today in the Emma Church of Christ with minister Creed Mullins officiating, assisted by Lindle Grigsby, of Richardson.
Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Huckabay died Sunday morning in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. He was a native of Erath County, Tex. and moved to Crosby County in 1914.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie; two sons, James Lindle of Tyler, and Clifford Dean of 7701 Canton St.; three daughters, Mrs. J.L. Cornwell and Mrs. Homer Ellison, both of Ralls, and Ms. A.H. Grigsby of 2129 62nd St.; two brothers, Truman of San Jose, Calif., and Ed of Kingsland, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Ligh Ellison of Crosbyton, Mrs. Linton Lanham of Silverton, and Mrs. Joe Smith of Kingsland; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Dessie L. Huckabay, a 90 year old Ralls resident, was claimed by death Friday in Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Loy Hardesty, minister, officiating. Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.
A Erath County native, the former Bessie Richardson was married to Lonnie Huckabay in September 1912. He died in 1974.
Mrs. Huckabay is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.L. Cornwell and Mrs. Homer Ellison, both of Ralls, and Mrs. A.H. Grigsby of Lubbock; two sons, James Huckabay of Tyler and Clifford Huckabay of Lubbock; one brother; one sister; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
