Services for Franklin Lloyd Houser, 92, of Lubbock were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 1990 in the First Baptist Church of Ralls with Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor officiating.

Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mr. Houser died at 8:46 p.m. Friday, February 15, 1990 in the South Park Medical Center in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.

He was born July 15, 1897 in Comanche County, Texas and married Mary Matilda Adams June 19, 1920 in Ralls. She preceded him in death January 5, 1970.

He was a farmer and a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church. He moved to the Ralls area about 72 years ago from Comanche County and then to Lubbock about 3 years ago from Ralls.

Survivors include 2 sons, Dale Houser of Greeley, Colorado and Jimmie Houser of Wilson, Texas; 1 daughter, Jo Kidd of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
