Georgia Hoople
Services for Georgia Hoople, 79, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m today at First Baptist Church of Ralls with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died Saturday at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

The Clay County native moved to Ralls from New Mexico in 1917. She had lived in Lubbock for the past eight years. A housewife, she married Frank Hoople in Brownfield, in 1943.

She was a Baptist.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Jean Nelson of Lubbock; a son, Edwin of Lubbock; four sisters, Lena Green of Lubbock, Daise King of Ralls, Mrs. Glen White of Floydada and Ottie Dweitt of Midland; three brothers, Williard Wright of Hale Center, Leonard Shook of Midland and Roy Shook of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
