Services for Carroll Ervin Hirst, 59, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 1995, at the First Baptist Church in Ralls with Rev. Dale Cain and Rev. Jim Morrow officiating.
Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Sunday, November 5, 1995, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born November 5, 1936, in Ralls, Texas. He had lived in Ralls all his life.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ralls, a former member of the Ralls School Board, a former member of the Ralls City Council, a member of the Emma Lodge, former owner of Hirst Ford Mercury in Ralls, member of the Texas Automobile Association, and a Car Coach for Texas Tech University.
Survivors include one son, Mark Hirst of Ralls; one daughter, Jana McKenzie of Lubbock; one brother, Clayton Phillips of Lubbock; one sister, Charlene Moore of Ralls; and four grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jordan and Jace.
