Masonic graveside services for Guy Hinton, 85, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Friday , January 31, 1997, in the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Haddock, a retired Baptist minister of Lubbock, and the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating.Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mr. Hinton died at 10:22 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 1997, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Mannford, OK. He married Loraine Stephens on April 13, 1936, in Odessa, TX. He moved from Pampa to Ralls in 1952 and became the owner and operator of Hinton Well Service until 1977. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and belonged to the Mannford Lodge #515. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Loraine Hinton of Ralls; two brothers, Paul Hinton of Skellytown, TX, and Phil Hinton of Newkirk, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
