Levelland (Special) — Services for Eugene "Pete" Hinson, 63, of Levelland will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Smith Funeral Home Chapel [Ralls, TX] with Dan Schiffbauer, pastor of the Plainview Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
He died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday in Cook Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Ralls and had lived in Farmington, N.M. for 30 years. He moved to Levelland 3 years ago. He was a retired oil field service contractor and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys of Levelland; his mother, Nita Hinson of Levelland; three daughters, Janice Clarence of Matagorda, Kathy Clarence of Farmington, N.M., and Karen Gerard of Farmington, N.M.; three sons, Larry of Eugene Ore., Ronnie of Levelland, and Rick Gerard of Farmington, N.M.; five sisters, Elizabeth Peden of Lubbock; Juanita Fincannon of Levelland, Nelda Ellerd of Clovis, N.M., Mary Vanderhoef of Denver, Colo., and Patsy Roth of Breckenridge.
