Services for Edie Hindman, 71, of Ralls were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, 1989, in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.
Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Hindman died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 1989, in the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 21, 1918 in Wolfe City, Texas and married Olan Hindman April 5, 1937 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church. She moved to the Ralls area in 1949 from Wolfe City, Texas.
Survivors include: Husband Olan Hindman of Ralls; (1 daughter, Era Lawan Hindman was born October 1, 1937 and died 3 days later); 2 brothers, Bert Barker of Ledoni, Texas and Ted Barker of Wolfe City; 4 sisters, Lillian Setzler of Wolfe City, Minnie Hindman of Ralls, Ruby Barker of Greenville, and Lida Smithey of Floydada.

Services for Olan Forest Hindman, 78, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Mar. 25, 1994, in the Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Cater-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Hindman died at 1:40 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 1994, in the Prairie House Living Center in Plainview, Texas following a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 19, 1915, in Wolfe City. He married Edie Barker on April 5, 1937, in Durant, Okla. She died on May 24, 1989. He married Tinnie Faye Bryant on Sept. 10, 1989, in Ralls. He moved to Ralls in 1956 from Wolfe City. He was a farmer and also worked for Crosby County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ralls.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Noble Hindman in 1910 and a sister Lillian Jones in 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Tinnie Faye Hindman of Ralls; a stepson, Billy Roy Compton of Long Valley, NJ; two step-daughters, Madleen Gooding of Sulpher Springs and Alice Faye Johnston of Lake Palestine; a brother, Arvil Hindman of Ralls; six stepgrandchildren; and five great stepgrandchildren.
