Services Held Saturday For Brooks Hawkins
Funeral services for Brooks Lee Hawkins, 20, were held at the Crosbyton Church of Christ at 3 p.m. Saturday, with Cline Drake, minister, assisted by Rev. Carl Grissom, pastor of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Ralls cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Young Hawkins died Friday following an illness of about a year. He was a 1951 graduate of Crosbyton High School and was born in Crosby County.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mr. Fred Hawkins of Crosbyton; a sister, Mrs. Robert Ashley of Plainview, and grandmother, Mrs. Viola Morton of Crosbyton.
