Graveside services for James Thomas Harrison, 76, of Ralls were at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2007 in the Ralls Cemetery with Tim Mills and Sonny Lee officiating. Arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
James passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Southwest Regional Medical Complex in Lubbock. He was born on March 26, 1931 in Chicago, IL. He married Emma Tillman in Denver. James was a member of the Emma Church of Christ where he led singing and did some teaching and former member of the Northeast Church of Christ in Denver, Colorado where he taught a Bible class. He worked for AT&T for 32 years in Chicago and Denver. James was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the VFW where he served as chaplain.
He moved to Ralls in 2002 from Denver, Colorado.
He is preceded in death by two children; Ron Gray and Georgean Duncan.
James is survived by his wife; Emma Harrison of Ralls, sons; Jimmy, Jon, Johnny, Jeffery and Kevin, daughters; Stacey, Trisha, Tracy, Hershelle and Glenda, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
