Funeral services for Walter Joe Harris, 15, of Ralls were conducted at 2 p.m. last Thursday in the Ralls First Baptist Church. The Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor, and the Rev. dale Cain, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiated.

Burial was made in Ralls Cemetery.

The Ralls High School student was found hanged Tuesday night of last week at his residence. Justice of the Peace W. E. Easter ruled the death a suicide.

Young Harris was a Crosbyton native.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James L. Harris of Ralls; four brothers, Jimmy, David, Bill and Bruce, all of the home; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Harris of Ralls and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McCauley of Idalou.
