RALLS (Special) - Services for Lawrence B. Harris, 77, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Ralls Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor, officiating.

Masonic graveside rites will be conducted in Ralls Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Harris died Tuesday morning in Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Harris was a native of Lake Creek and moved to Ralls from Texarkana in 1933. He was an auto parts salesman.

He was a member and past master of Emma Lodge 931 in Ralls, a member of the chapter and council of Floydada Masons, and a past patron of Ralls Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; five sons, James of Ralls, Ernest and Bill, both of Dallas, Alvin of Quinlan, and George of Paris; four daughters, Mrs. Laverne Cate of Moore, Okla., Mrs. Jewel Thompson of Highland Park, Mrs. Mildred Castleberry of Grand Prairie and Mrs. Evelyn Maynard of Cedar Hill; four brothers, Ardel, Ernest and Walter, all of Texarkana, and Jack of Decateur, IL.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Peeler of Mesquite; 18 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
