Janice Hargrove 75 of Lubbock passed away Friday February 6, 2015.
She was born February 3, 1940 in Tyler Texas to Lloyd and Doris Day Jordan. She married Charles Hargrove on January 8, 1955 in Clovis New Mexico. Janice loved cooking, gardening, and her flowers. She enjoyed teaching kids as she taught Sunday school for many years and worked with the youth. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a big fan of Snoopy and the Peanut Gang.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Charles, three sons; Charles Hargrove Jr. and wife Renee of Lubbock, Deke Hargrove and wife Carrie of Lubbock, Anson Hargrove and wife Cassandra of Lubbock, one daughter; Carol Pevey and husband Rick of Lubbock, one brother; Sonny Jordan of Lubbock, and three sisters; Linda Church of Oklahoma City, Silvia Postlewait of Moore, Oklahoma, and Doris Ann Haggard of Lubbock. Janice also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 10, 2015 at the Trinity Church Chapel. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Monday at Trinity Central from 6:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. Family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
