
Services for Claude DeWitt Hargrove, 76 of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Faith Temple Church with the Rev. Don Messer, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Restaven Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Rockwall County and had been a resident of Lubbock since 1949, moving from Ralls. He was a retired self-employed roofing contractor in the Lubbock area for 10 years. He married Dorcus Fay Rushing in 1945 in Ralls. He was a member of the Faith Temple Church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, T.C., Charles, John and James, all of Lubbock; four stepsons, Johnny Key of Grapevine, Claude Key of Luling and Donald Key and Mickey Key, both of Lubbock; two daughters, Hazel McCall of Lubbock and Bonnie Stroud of Austin; four stepdaughters, Margaret Rogers of Luling, Louise Goodson of Lubbock, Wendella Martin of Ralls and May Hargrove of Dimmitt; five brothers, Charley of Garland, Sid of Lubbock, J.D. of Nevada, Walter of Haskell and Herman of Huntsville; two sisters, Annie Griggs of Lubbock and Lucille Lowrance of Dinuba, Calif.; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 21 stepgrandchildren.

Services for Faye Hargrove, 89, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Faith Temple Church with the Rev. Don Messer, pastor, officiating.
Deacon Charles Taylor will assist.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hargrove died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday in Bender Terrace Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Grayson County and moved from Ralls to Lubbock in 1952. She married Claude DeWitt Hargrove in November 1945. He died in 1986. She was a homemaker and member of Faith Temple Church.
Survivors include four sons, Claude Key of Luling, Donald Key and Mickey Key, both of Lubbock, and Johnny Key of Bowie; four daughters, Margaret Rogers of Austin, Louise Goodson of Lubbock, Mae Hargrove of Dimmitt, and Della Martin of Ralls; three stepsons, Charles Hargrove, James Hargrove and John Hargrove, all of Lubbock; two step-daughters, Hazel McCall of Lubbock and Bonnie Stroud of Austin; a sister, Georgia Stewman of Leonard; 53 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
