Services for Elba Ray Hall, 72, of Ralls will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2007, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.Ray passed away, Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Lubbock's Covenant Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1934 in Ralls to the late John Elba and Grace (Morton) Hall. A 1951 graduate of Ralls High School, Ray was a member of the Church of Christ in Cone and had worked as a truck driver for AAA Office Coffee Service since 1976. He had lived in the Ralls area most of his life.
Survivors include a son; Robert Hall of Pocatello, Idaho, three daughters; Brooksann Hall of Lubbock, Brenda Norman and her husband David of Lubbock and Jessica Hall of Irving, Texas, a brother; Johnny Hall of Ralls, a sister; Barbara Hand of Lubbock and three grandchildren; Brittnee, Raynee and Emily.
The family suggests memorials to Texas Boys Ranch, P. O. Box 5665, Lubbock, Texas 79408 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
