RALLS (Special) - Services for longtime Ralls resident Marvin O. Greer, 78, are scheduled for 10 a.m. today in the Ralls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dick Richards, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor of the Ralls First Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.

The native of Brandon died about 12:30 a.m. Monday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

A retried farmer, Greer was married to Telia Lewis April 21, 1927, in Lorenzo. They moved to Ralls in 1922 from Hill County. Greer was a member of the Ralls Order of the Eastern Star and of the Ralls Masonic Lodge where he was a 50-year member. He was a 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Cecil of Irving; a brother, M.A. of Idalou; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Colville of Ralls and Mrs. Anna Bullman of Littlefield; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Evatt, Wayne Crossland, Elvin Evatt, Earl C. Abell, Charles Gray and Bill Fowler.
