Services for Lena Green, 87, of Ralls were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 1993, in the Ralls First Baptist Church with the Revs. Roger Garrett, pastor of Emmanue Baptist Church in Lubbock, and Dr. Kermit Little of Lubbock officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Green died at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 1993, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born June 30, 1906, in Buffalo Springs. She married A.A. Green on May 26, 1931, in Crosby County. He died on March 20, 1957. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include a son, James E. "Bill" Gauny of Kerrville; a daughter, Lora Jane McLane of Lubbock; a brother, Ray Shook of Dallas; two sisters, Ila White of Floydada and Daisy King of Ralls; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Nelton Chote, Marshall King, Sammie Bownds, Bob Wideman, Dr. Kermit Little and Clarence Parker.
