Last rites held for Mrs. M. Gray

Last rites for Mrs. Mable Watkins Gray, 73, were held at 4 p.m. in First Methodist Church with Mr. C. M. Ryan, pastor officiating, assisted by Mr. W. R. Beaird. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gray a resident of Ralls since 1919 died at 2 p.m. Sunday in a San Angelo hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include three sons, W. D. Watkins, Abilene; W. W. Watkins, Ralls; and Wilmeth Watkins, Carlsbad, Calif.; a stepson, Ralph Gray, Lubbock; a foster daughter, Miss Anna Mae Smith, Ralls; two brothers, N. S. Clifton, Silver City, N.M., and Jess Clifton, Temple; three sisters, Mrs. Vance Baldwin, Fort Worth; Mrs. Nina Carpenter, McLean, and Mrs. Walt Keeson, Van Nuys, Calif., and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tim Lyle, Joe Heard, Tommy Lyle, Link Tidwell, Burl Griffith, A. J. Cowley, Buran House and Sport Henry.
