Services for Don David Goode, 71, of Lubbock will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Rev. John Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Don passed away Monday, June 2, 2008 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born February 11, 1937 in Hill County to the late John D. and Eunice A. (Russell) Goode. He married Clara Belle Dunn on August 3, 1976 in Lubbock. She preceded him in death.
Don attended school in Ralls and graduated from Monterey High School in 1955. He played football and was a member of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Lubbock. He moved to Levelland from Ralls and then to Lubbock. Don also served in the US Army.
Survivors include; a brother and his wife; Robby and Jane Osborn of Bellville, a sister and her husband; Linda and Ronny Clinton of Lubbock and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Ronny L. Clinton, Rodger Scott, Robin Osborn, Robert Neville and Cody Hargrave.
