Mass for Sylvia Torres Gonzales, 30, of Jacksonville, Arkansas and formerly of Ralls and Lubbock were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael´s Catholic Church in Ralls with the Reverend Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating. Rosary was held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the same church, also under the direction of Rev. Parampil. Burial followed the mass in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Gonzales died at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday from injuries suffered in a car accident in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

She was born in Ralls on May 17, 1957 and married Gilbert Gonzales in Lubbock. She was the manager of the Royal Hotel in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a former member of the St. Joseph´s Catholic Church in Lubbock. She moved to Jacksonville, Arkansas 4 years ago from Lubbock.

Survivors include the husband of Jacksonville, Arkansas, four sons, Joseph DeLeon of Lubbock, Anthony DeLeon of Lubbock and Jason Gonzales and Simon Gonzales, both of Jacksonville, Arkansas, her parents, Joe and Eliosa Torres of Wolfforth, Maternal Grandfather, Joe E. Piseno of Lubbock, four brothers, Ray Torres, Albert Torres and Johnny Torres, all of Lubbock; 3 sisters, Esther Torres and Ramona Garza, both of Lubbock and Connie Torres of Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Serving as Pall Bearers were Ray Torres, Albert Torres, Johnny Torres, Joe Salas, Greg Torres and James Torres.
