Gladys Gonzales, 93, of Lorenzo passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born March 29, 1916 to the parents of the late John and Nettie Thomas in Mart. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter, Carla Gonzales; granddaughter, Gabrielle Gonzales; grandson, Phillip Jeffery; three great-grandchildren, Shayla McCaddon, Jamad Gonzales, and Te'Yanna Gonzales; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo. Burial will follow at Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
