Services for Angelita Chavez Garza, 60, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Shadow Hills Baptist Church (5911 4th St.) with the Rev. Walter Goodknight officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels.She died April 1, 2004, at her residence. She was born Nov. 23, 1943, in Rosebud, Texas. She married Antonio J. Garza on May 12, 1964. She is preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Arias.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio J. Garza; three sons, Tony, Alec, and Christopher Garza; two daughters, Diana Gonzales and Mary Ann Garza; three sisters, Mary Zarazua, Minnie Gonzales, and Amilia Garcia; two brothers, Pete Chavez and Joe Solis; and five grandchildren, Anthony, Audriana, Jaci, Tyler, and Zach.
