Garner Funeral Held In Ralls Wednesday
Howard Garner, 72 of Ralls died about 10 p.m. Monday in the Crosbyton Hospital. Services were held at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church.Officiating was the Rev. Floyd Haddock of Seminole, with burial in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Garner was a native of Mount Vernon and was a retired cotton ginner. He moved to Ralls in 1923.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie; three sons, Carl of Waco, _. G. of Jacksonville, N.C., and Howard Wayne of Lubbock; a step-son, Donald Rowell of Lubbock; a step-daughter, Mrs. Vada Taylor of Grand Prairie; four brothers, Robert and Max, both of Paris, Willard of Mabank, and Glen of Seagoville; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Lawrence, Mrs. Edna Reagan and Mrs. Nina Jordan, all of Sulphur Springs, Mrs. Lou Ella Kinney of Canyon and Mrs. Lorene Lynch of Ralls; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
