Leticia "Letty" Garcia, 49, of Ralls, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011, in Lubbock, Texas. A rosary service will be at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Leticia was born in Portland, Oregon on July 8, 1966, to Guadalupe S. and Juan H. Uribe, Sr. She loved to listen and dance to Tejano music and also loved to play bingo. She really enjoyed television, the internet and text messaging with friends.
Survivors include her husband, Santiago Garcia, Jr., one daughter, Veronica Marie Garcia of Ralls, her siblings, Juan S. Uribe, Jr. of Sunnyside, WA, Marie Medellin of Ralls, Mary Esther Luna of Brownfield, Olivia Uribe of Ralls, Corina Alcala of Ralls, Venceslao Uribe of San Antonio and Trinidad Uribe of Ralls, one step-sister, Olivia Higginbotham of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Redbud Dialysis Center, 1126 Slide Rd., #4A, Lubbock, Texas 79416.
