Funston Funeral Is Held In Lubbock Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Esteele Funston, 93, of 2618 - 39 St. in Lubbock were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8 at Caprock Church of Christ. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock.Mrs. Funston died at 4:45 p.m. Monday in Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Mississippi, she lived in Ralls 34 years before moving to Lubbock in 1958. She was a member of Caprock Church of Christ in Lubbock.
Survivors are: son, Elder Joe Jackson of Cone, two daughters; Mrs. Jewell Hobbs and Mrs. Lindsey Doss, both of Lubbock; two step-sons, three step-daughters, eight grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
