WILLCOX, Ariz. (Special) - Memorial services for Paul Winfrey Fowler, 92, of Willcox, Ariz., will be at 10 a.m. today in Westlawn Chapel in Willcox.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Fowler died Monday, Dec. 16, 1996, in Willcox, Ariz.

He was born July 25, 1904, in Rosalia, Kan. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School, where he played on the high school national championship basketball team in 1925. He attended the University of Kansas, where he played basketball and football. He was a Master Mason and a former member of the Emma Lodge 931 in Ralls. His first wife, Arliene Lundquist, died in 1939. He married Alice Welch on Aug. 24, 1946, in Pillsbury.

He was a petroleum jobber, and he owned Fowler Brothers Phillips 66 in Ralls until retiring in 1981. A daughter, Melody, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David of Willcox; two daughters, Joan Hay of Phoenix, Ariz., and Alice Elizabeth Moses of Wilcox; two brothers, Fred Jay Fowler and Burton Ray Fowler, both of California; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.

The family suggests memorials to the Ralls United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 447, Ralls, 79357.
