Robert McDaniel Ford married to Maggie Grace Carter in July 9, 1906. Robert and Maggie moved from Denton to Crosby County in 1938. Robert worked for Southwestern Public Service from the 1930's to the 1950's. Robert died of a stroke in 1958.Maggie and Robert had two daughters, Opal and Stella and two sons, Buster and Claude. Robert had one brother Wheeler Ford.

RALLS (Special) - Services for Mrs. Grace Ford, of Ralls, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ralls First Baptist Church.Officiating will be the Rev. Otis Pearee, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church of Ralls, and the Rev. Ed Scarbrough, pastor of New Deal Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Ford died about 4 a.m. Tuesday at Lubbock´s University Nursing Home, where she had been a resident-patient about a year. Mrs. Ford was 85 at the time of her death.
Born in Fannin County, the former Grace Carter moved to Ralls in Crosby County from Denton County in 1938. She married Robert M. Ford in Fannin County in 1906. He died in 1958.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Opal Sanders of Ralls and Mrs. Stella Stone of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Nell Keith of Bennington, Okla., and Mrs. Lou Brockett of Zapata, Okla.; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
