Eva V. Ford Funeral Held In Ralls Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. W.R. (Eva V.) Ford, 61, sister of Travis Cook of Ralls, were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Ralls. Rev. Dale Cain of Lubbock officiated.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ford, of 1918-41 in Lubbock died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in a Lubbock nursing home after a lengthy illness.

A native of Eastland County, she moved to Lubbock in 1962 from Jack County.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mike of Graham and Larry of Lubbock; two daughters, Mrs. Coleta Bruce of Graham and Mrs. Frances Pitts of Belton, Mo.; three brothers, Buddy Melvin Hogg of Springer, N.M.; Don Cook of Dallas and Mr. Cook of Ralls; two sisters, Mrs. Nina Barry of Lampasas and Mrs. Madge Hamilton of Texas City; and four grandchildren.
