Funeral services for Doris Lovina Ford, 66, of Lubbock were held at 11 a.m., June 8, 1988, at the Carter Adams Funeral Home in Ralls, with the Rev. Raymond McCreight, pastor of the Peace Tabernacle of Lubbock, officiating.

Mrs. Ford died at 12 p.m., June 6, 1988, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She was born in Texas May 4, 1922 and moved to Lubbock from Garland in 1975. She married W.R. Ford on Jan. 3, 1977, in Lubbock. Mrs. Ford was a retired employee of the Texas Tech University Cafeteria Department and a housewife. She was a member of the Peace Tabernacle.
