Services for Neva Faye Reese Forbes, 89, of Ralls, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, 1998, in the Ralls First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. Forbes died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 1998, in Seminole Memorial Hospital following an illness.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1908, in Fannin County, TX, and married Roy Russell Forbes on May 8, 1929, in Lorenzo, TX. He preceded her in death on Oct. 9, 1957. She was a waitress for several years at the Caravan Restaurant in Ralls. She moved to Ralls in 1924 from Trenton, TX, and to Seminole in 1995. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Nell Clark of Lubobck, and Helen Joyce Sharp of New Deal.

Survivors include two sons, Ocie Forbes of Brownwood, and Don Forbes of Pleasanton; three daughters, Peggy Morris of Morton, Margie Parker of Seminole, and Patsy Huddleston of Mountain Home, ID; two brothers, Billie Teal Reese of Oklahoma City, OK, and Leslie E. Reese of Pala Pinto; a sister, Zena Dewbre of Morton; an aunt, Lucille Thompson of Monahans; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons were pallbearers.
