Services for Jimmie Flowers, 59, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 1988 at the Emma Church of Christ with Dennis May, minister, officiating.

Burial was in City of Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 4 p.m. Monday, July 4, 1988, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Texas and married Jack Flowers in Cone on May 3, 1947. He died May 5. She worked for Texas Tech University´s police department and lived in Crosby County most of her life. She was a member of Emma Church of Christ.

Survivors include her mother, Vada Bartlett of Crosbyton; a daughter, Kay Templeton of Duncanville; three sisters, Frances Allen of Plainview, Pat Brown of Lubbock and Geneva Gustin of Friona; two brothers, J.R. Bartlett of Lake Charles, La., and Houston Bartlett of Bovina; and a grandson, Chris Brizzard, of Duncanville.

Pallbearers were J.B. Marshall, Joe Dwyer, Scott Gilbreath, Steve Gray, George Wilson and Bob Sulligan.

Honorary pallbearers were Allen Crausbay, Billy Bob Wright and Jack Robertson.
