Kelly Bob Ferguson, 77, of Lubbock, died Saturday in Covenant Specialty Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at the Ralls Cemetery, under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home. His family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
Kelly Bob was born April 14, 1931 in Post to Thomas and Maggie Ferguson. He was a 1949 graduate of Ralls High School and farmed for over 30 years in the Ralls area. He moved to Lubbock after his retirement.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his twin daughters, Brenda Prater and husband Don of Lubbock, and Glenda Smith and husband Joe of Artesia, N.M.; one sister, Rebajo Alexander of Odessa; three grandchildren, David Smith, Susan Holmes, Amy Tullis; along with seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Memorial donations in Kelly Bob's name are suggested to be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Arthritis Foundation.
