Services for Floyd Fenter, 85-year-old Ralls resident were at 3 p.m. Monday in Ralls First Baptist Church. Dr. Billy Burke, pastor, and the Rev. John Goss, retired minister, officiated.

Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.

Mr. Fenter died at 12:15 p.m. Saturday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a prolonged illness.

He had resided on the South Plains 56 years. He and Myrle Northcutt were married Feb. 19, 1926, in Olton.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Oleta Watson of Modesto, Calif.; a brother, Rupert Fenter of Delight, Ark.; two sisters, Alice Dabbs of Delight, Ark., and Mrs. Daw Gentry of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
