RALLS - Services for Burnice Evans, 60, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 531 Tifford St., in Ralls. Burial will follow in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home in Lubbock. Mrs. Evans died Saturday, June 21, 2003.She was born May 14, 1943, in Nacogdoches to the parentage of Benjamin and Pauline Menefee. She attended public schools in Nacodoches and Ralls. Mrs. Evans was a retired homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Anderson Evans of Ralls; two daughters, Vickie Elaine Luckey of Dallas and Bernie Faye Mays of Andrew; six sisters, Kathleen McBride of Lubbock, Golden Smith of Fort Worth, Claudia Cotton of Savannah, Ga., Georgia Smith of Galveston, Joyce Bean of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Annie Morgan of Burleson; two brothers, Robert Menefee of Andrews and Bill Menefee of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2nd and Ave. B, in Ralls from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 27.
