RALLS (Special) -Rosary for Roman Esparza Sr., 84, of Ralls will be recited at 7 p.m. today in St. Michael´s Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in the same church with the same officiant.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Esparza died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Grandfalls and moved to Ralls in 1952 from Imperial. He married Genoveva Rey Jan. 23, 1926, in Presidio. She died in 1987. He was a farmer and a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church. He was a member of Sacred Hearts and Cursillista at St. Michael´s Catholic Church.

Survivors include nine sons, Manuel of Monahans, Roman Jr. and Ernest, both of Ralls, Cruz of Hale Center, Salvador of Austin, Rudy of El Paso, Edmond and Richard, both of Amarillo and Edward of Lubbock; four daughters, Virginia Torres and Amelia Luna, both of Ralls, Belia Tovar of Imperial and Ofelia Martinez of Frisco; two brothers, Santos of Coyanosa and Apolonio of Kermit; two sisters, Manuela Urias of Eloy, Ariz., an Paula Rey of Imperial; 38 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
