RALLS (Special) - Rosary for Genoveva Esparza, 80, of Rals will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in St. Michael´s Catholic Church.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in the same church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, and the Rev. Harold Walso officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died Saturday afternoon in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Terlingua and moved to Ralls in 1952. She married Roman Esparza Sr. on Jan. 23, 1926, in Presidio. She was a Catholic and a charter member of Guadalupanas and Cursillo.

Survivors include her husband; nine sons, Manuel of Monahans, Roman Jr. of Ralls, Cruz of Hale Center, Salvador of Austin, Ernest of Grapevine, Edward of Lubbock, Rudy, Edmond and Ricardo, all of Amarillo; four daughters, Virginia Torres and Amelia Luna, both of Ralls, Belia Tovar of Imperial and Ofelia Martinez of Frisco; three brothers, Carman Rey of Monahans, Angel Rey of Imperial and Celedonio Rey of Midland; four sisters, Timotea Esparza and Geronimo Flores, both of Imperial, Natividad Esparza of Cayonosa and Lorensa Lopes of Grand Falls; 37 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
