RALLS (Special) - Homer Ellison, 63, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Granville C. Morton Cancer Research Center in Dallas.Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Emma Church of Christ here. Officiating will be James Eubanks, minister of the church, and Charles Cranford of Camden, Ark. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Ellison moved to Crosby County from Erath County in 1921. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kyle Ellison of Big Spring; two daughters, Mrs. Rita Gray and Mrs. Gayle Binder, both of Ralls; four brothers, D.B. Ellison of Crosbyton and Lonnie Ellison, Earnest Ellison and R.C. Ellison Jr., all of Lubbock; four sisters, Mrs. Irene Holcomb of Crosbyton, Mrs. Woodrow Robertson of Crosbyton, Mrs. D. K. Stevens of Ralls and Mrs. Raymond Tillson of Austin; and three grandchildren.

Services for Ruby Faye Ellison, 89, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006 at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Terry Ellison, nephew officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Ruby passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2006 in the Ralls Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1916 in Lockney, Texas to the late Lonnie Dean and Dessie (Richardson) Huckabay. On Aug. 11, 1934 she married Homer W. Ellison in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1972.
She was a member of the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls and a homemaker. She graduated from Crosbyton High School and had lived in the area all her life. She was also a member of the Lubbock Sr. Citizens Club for 30 years and enjoyed playing dominoes and bridge.
Ruby is preceded in death by a son, Kyle Ellison who died on Sept. 12, 1997.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Rita and Bourley Gray of Lubbock, Gayle and Bill Binder of Tahoka; two sisters, Jo Cornwell and Dora Grigsby, both of Lubbock; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
