Vivian Gallimore Eason Funeral Held Friday
Funeral services for Vivan Gallimore Eason, 69, of Lubbock were at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Elton Wyatt, associate pastor of St. Luke´s United Methodist Church officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
Mrs. Eason died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Houston´s M.D. Anderson Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Baylor County and grew up in the Roberson Community. She moved to Lubbock in 1945 and married Bill Eason in Lubbock in December 1977. She was an employee of Hemphill-Wells for 26 years. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Gracie) Wheeler of Lubbock; two brothers, C.B. Gallimore of Lubbock and J.C. Gallimore of Edmonson; a stepson, Jan Eason of Atlanta, Ga.; and two step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Jerry Beavers, Jr., Scotty Ponder, Edwin and Charlie Wheeler and Kraig and Larry Gallimore.
